Join us for a deep dive into pottery as we craft the ultimate everyday object: the mug! This session is led by the talented Christy Jaworski, artist & owner of V. Ferme in Blair, NE. Christy guides you through the building process, offering a variety of ways to make the piece your own. Experiment with textured rolling pins to create depth and dimension, or use carving tools to etch unique details into the surface. Elevate your morning coffee with a piece designed and finished by your own hands.

After class, the instructor will dry and fire your mug back at the kiln. Participants will return at the 2nd class date (Sunday, July 26th 2-4pm) to glaze your pottery. The instructor will glaze fire your mug and drop it back off at Ditmars Orchard where you can pick it up at your convenience.

Clay, tools, and glaze will be provided.
